Ipoh, May 20, 2024— Methodist National School (ACS) celebrated the grand opening of its annual STEM Week with the launch of a groundbreaking Used Cooking Oil Recycling program in collaboration with Green Energy Asia (GEA). This month-long event, running from May 12 to June 12, 2024, is designed to foster awareness about environmental sustainability among students, teachers, parents, and the broader school community.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Headmaster Tuan Sargunawaran A/L Manickam. In his address, he emphasized the importance of integrating environmental consciousness into education. The ceremony also featured a captivating opening gimmick and the official launch of the “Recycling Used Cooking Oil” program.
